Bellcare is a business with a lot of love to give, founded nearly 20 years ago, it provides homecare for elderly people across Cumbria, enabling them to remain at home and live the life they want to lead. During the Covid-19 pandemic the service it provides has been more important than ever, often acting as the only link between clients and the outside world.

Managing director Carol Wilson came to Platinum Live in June 2020 asking us to develop a full service communications strategy to demonstrate Bellcare’s family ethos, raise its profile and recruit additional carers through social media and press campaigns.

We worked with Bellcare to identify its core values and how to project them via a range of external and internal media.

Platinum Live has delivered a flow of successful media campaigns, gaining coverage across outlets including ITV News, BBC Radio and an array of local newspapers and digital outlets, as well as web copywriting and content marketing services. This has included planning, production and creative direction of a corporate video in collaboration with our friends at NaikMedia.

We have implemented a consistent social media strategy to reflect the friendly character of the team and the happiness they bring to their clients, as well as producing targeted Facebook advertising for recruitment campaigns.

Finally, we are producing an internal company newsletter for clients and staff which is published three times a year.
