Bellcare Domiciliary has appointed a new deputy manager, who is to assist with the expansion and continued growth of the Workington based firm.
Caroline Eastwood has over a decade’s worth of experience behind her in the care industry, she said: “I have spent my working life in care and joined Bellcare 11 years ago, over the years I have progressed within the company and gained more experience in different areas such as end of life care, person centred care planning and training. Debbie and Carol are always open to new ideas and ways of working so we can continue to provide our high standard of quality care to our service users.
“I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity of Deputy Manager. I certainly look forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge. I am also looking forward to continuing to support the wonderful service users, carers and the Bellcare management.”
Debbie Ellwood, registered manager of Bellcare said: “Caroline being promoted to the position is adding a stronger fixture to the family. She is an asset to Bellcare and after working with her closely for a number of years now I know she is perfect for the role. Having a deputy and a registered manager back in place will certainly allow the business progress further.
The appointment comes as Bellcare among many others in the care sector are on strong recruitment drives for health care staff during the Cornavirus pandemic as the demand for care staff has soared over recent months.
